If typing out a full process description isn’t your style, Just Flow It lets you speak it instead. Tap the microphone icon, describe your workflow out loud, and the AI transcribes your words and generates a BPMN 2.0 diagram — no keyboard required. It’s the fastest way to capture a process you already know by heart and turn it into a shareable diagram.

How to use voice input

1

Tap the microphone icon

On the home screen or inside the editor, tap the microphone icon next to the text input field. Just Flow It will request microphone access if it hasn’t already been granted. Allow access to continue.
2

Speak your process description

Describe your workflow out loud at a natural pace. Name the roles involved, mention each step in sequence, and call out any decisions or branching paths. Speak as if you’re walking a colleague through the process for the first time.
3

Tap again to stop recording

When you’ve finished describing the process, tap the microphone icon again to stop recording. Just Flow It will transcribe your speech and display the text in the input field.
4

Review the transcription

Read through the transcribed text. If the AI misheard a word or missed a detail, you can edit the text directly in the input field before generating the diagram.
5

Click Generate

Click Generate to turn the transcription into a BPMN 2.0 diagram. The result appears in the editor, where you can continue refining it.

Tips for a clear voice description

Speak naturally, as if explaining the process to a colleague — you don’t need to use any special BPMN terminology. The AI understands plain language and maps it to the correct diagram elements automatically.
A few habits that lead to better diagrams:
  • Name every role out loud. Say “the sales manager” or “the finance team” rather than “they” or “someone.” Named roles become pools and lanes in the diagram.
  • Say decision points clearly. Phrases like “if the request is approved” or “depending on whether the customer has an existing account” give the AI the context it needs to add the right gateways.
  • Pause briefly between steps. A short natural pause helps the transcription engine separate distinct steps rather than run them together.
  • Mention parallel tasks explicitly. If two things happen at the same time, say “at the same time” or “simultaneously” — the AI will add a parallel gateway.

Supported languages

Voice input is available on all plans, including Free. Just Flow It supports any language that the underlying AI model recognises, which includes all major world languages. Speak in whichever language feels most natural — the generated diagram will use the same language for element labels.
