Sometimes you need a diagram as a plain image rather than a BPMN file — for a slide deck, a report, a wiki page, or a quick screenshot to paste into a chat. Just Flow It lets you export any diagram as a PNG or JPG image in one click, with no additional software required.

How to export an image

1

Open the diagram

Navigate to the diagram you want to export and open it in the editor. Make sure the canvas is showing the full diagram the way you want it to appear in the image.
2

Click Export

In the toolbar, click the Export button. A panel will appear listing the available export formats.
3

Choose your image format

Select either PNG or JPG depending on your use case. (See the tip below for guidance on which to choose.)
4

Download the image

Click Download. The image file is saved to your device’s default download folder, named after your diagram.

Where to use image exports

Image exports are ideal wherever you need to show a diagram without requiring the viewer to have a BPMN tool installed:
  • Presentations — paste directly into PowerPoint, Google Slides, or Keynote
  • Word documents and PDFs — insert as an inline image in reports or SOPs
  • Confluence and Notion pages — embed or attach for team documentation
  • Emails — attach or inline the image for stakeholders who don’t use Just Flow It
  • Slack, Teams, and other messaging apps — share a quick visual of the process
Use PNG when quality matters most — it uses lossless compression, so text labels and sharp diagram edges stay crisp in documents and presentations. Use JPG when file size is a priority, such as when attaching the image to an email or uploading it to a platform with size limits.
Image export is available on all plans, including Free. Both PNG and JPG formats are included at no extra cost.
